Beautiful gold and jewelry put on display in Tehran Expo
(Minews) - 6th International Gold, Jewelry, Precious Stones, Clock and Watch Exhibition kicks off in Tehran. More than a hundred and thirty Iranian companies and five foreign companies from countries including Turkey, Thailand and Switzerland were present at the event. The head of Gold and Jewelry Producers and Exporters Association talked about the industry and how it is doing
Iran’s deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs at the event said that the ministry is issuing permits for opening workshops that teach jewelry design outside of the country.
Gold, silver and all kinds of gems and jewels were pt on display at this expo. One of the most popular stones at the expo was turquoise.
Experts say Iran’s 18 Karat gold is made up of around 75 percent gold and 25 percent of other metals. Most European countries and United States use 14 Karat Gold which is made up of 58.5 percent of gold and 41.5 percent of other metals. Aash Khalatbari, Press TV, Tehran
